Do all Simplecast Plans allow me to distribute my podcasts to all listening apps? keyboard_arrow_down

Yep. If you’re just getting started on Simplecast Basic or you’ve grown your show into a chart topper, all plans offer direct publishing to all platforms, like Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Google Podcasts, and Overcast - just to name a few.

Why would I pay for podcast hosting, when some provide it for free? keyboard_arrow_down

Most times, when you don’t pay for a product, you are the product. Being part of a paid platform means that you’re investing in your success–and so are we! Still, Simplecast offers much more than just reliable hosting for your RSS feed and podcast. We’ve been around since 2013, and in 2020 became part of the SiriusXM family–meaning we’re not going anywhere. Plus, many podcast creators find that the increased revenue they bring in using our tools more than makes up for the price of their hosting. Still have questions about how we’re different? Do you run ads on my podcast without my permission? keyboard_arrow_down

Nope. Not a single one. And if you’re on our Professional plan utilizing our premium ad marketplace, you have full control over setting the ad markers and time stamps where ads can be inserted as you can also set blocks for any IAB categories or sub-categories, as well as specific advertiser domains, that you do not want to advertise on your show.

Do you really provide unlimited audio storage with all plans? keyboard_arrow_down

Can I cancel anytime? keyboard_arrow_down

On our Basic, Essential, and Growth plans, you’ll be billed monthly and can cancel at any time. There’s no long-term agreement, and you can delete your Simplecast-powered podcast at any time. You will not be billed for a podcast after you have cancelled it.
On a Professional or Enterprise plan? Check your contract for termination and renewal details, and reach out to your account rep for more info!

Can I switch to a different plan anytime? keyboard_arrow_down

If you’re on our plans for independent podcast creators (Basic, Essential, and Growth), you can change your plan at any time, whether that’s an upgrade or a downgrade. Your changes will be prorated and reflected on your following month’s invoice.
